Terrain is used for views of the landscape from different angles. With this approach, we try to show how materials are applied to the landscape. In our case, the material is not only related to land use, but also to the presence of other objects. Our strategy was to search for a suitable material for each object type and attach textures to the surface using the same material as a background material. Depending on the required effect, the appropriate brick, stone, metal, wood, plaster, or other material can be used. Brick textures are used for the forest areas, while natural stone such as Chur and Gneiss are used for the old buildings. The available material ranges from highly polished granite to clay, which can be used as a wall material. In our case, these material were only used for the exterior, and they conceals the machinery and parts of the castle. Bare earth or unglazed stone can be used for the section of the depths. Plaster walls are modeled as a frame and then a coating is applied to the surfaces. Metal objects were rendered using bronze textures.
We used pans for the visible horizon line. The pans are widely manufactured and fill the rules given. They are very easy to handle. Under the same rules, it is possible to generate sliders for the position of the pan. Its surface can be finished with a different texture. Brick and stone textures are used here as well. In our scene, mountains are made with polygonal shapes so that the horizontal and vertical rigs are necessary. For this case, we use a ramp system in the direction of the camera to give a sense of perspective.
Plots show the position of the Voronoi polygons in the space, which were formed based on the location of the points of the infrastructure. The location of these plots is the same as the position of the data in the dataset. This data is updated in the GIS module as the data are entered into the database. It is possible to define the time frame in which the data has to be updated. The data can be automatically updated every time, e.g., every time the GIS module is started. Other interesting options are the size of the bins that are used to create the Voronoi polygons. d2c66b5586
